HP Ultra Portable Computer

HP annouced back in April that they would be bringing out an inexpensive Ultra Portable Laptop geared toward the education market.  HP felt students would benefit from having a laptop for use at home and at school and decided to work with school boards to come up with a laptop that would work.  Of course the main objective was to keep costs low, but this doesn't mean that it won't do what you want it to do.  The HP 2133 Mini-Note Laptop will compete against other inexpensive laptop like the ASUS EEE PC, which I absolutely love.

Colored Laptops

If wander through any computer store today you'll likely see them everywhere; Colored Laptops.  You had to see it coming I suppose.  Pink Laptops, Blue Laptops, Woodgrain Laptops and more.  Most laptop manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon and have started building colored laptops. What a great way to take an otherwise sterile looking piece of electronic equipment and add some style to it.  Undoubtedly it's Pink Laptops that are the most popular, but there are some other pretty awesome colors out there.  Companies like Sony, Dell, HP and Asus all have various colors and even textures to choose from.

Of course if you have a newer laptop and can't justify getting rid of it just so you can have a trendy colored one, you can always consider buying a colored laptop skin for your existing laptop.

Used Apple Laptops For Sale

Macbooks have taken the world by storm in the past few years and there are so many reasons why.  Apple has managed to actually create laptops with features that people actually want and that's why anyone in the any one of the many "arts" tend to prefer a Macbook or a Macbook Pro.

The only downside to Apple Laptops is the price.  They can sometimes run about 50% more than a similarly equipped Windows based laptop.  Right now you might be thinking that you would love to buy a Macbook, but given the extra cost, you will settle for a PC.  WAIT!

Everyday people buy new Apple Laptops which means everday, people also sell perfectly good Used Apple Laptops at a very affordable price.  There are those technology buffs out there that tend to buy a new gadget as soon as they hit the market and you can benefit from that.  Consider when the Macbook Air came onto the market last year.  So many current Macbook users rushed out and picked one up even though they had a pefectly good Macbook Pro sitting on the desk.

Don't be fooled into paying a high premium just to have the latest piece of technology.  A good used Apple Laptop should last you several years even after someone else has enjoyed it for a year or two.  If you're not heavy into design or graphics, you simply don't need a computer with the latest microship or video card.
